About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator to support clients receiving addiction treatment at its Dublin, New Hampshire residential facility, which provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The facilitator conducts group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients' challenges and needs; helps clients build healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools; and works closely with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress. The role also involves escalating significant client concerns to the Clinical Director and maintaining complete documentation, including group session records, clinical assessments, and individual client charting.

Avenues Recovery Center describes itself as a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with 21 locations across seven states. Its programs include detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The Dublin facility is set on 11 acres of New Hampshire countryside and is staffed by clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians.

Requirements

• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in the state.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet clients' challenges and needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
