About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator to support clients in addiction treatment. The facilitator conducts group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to client challenges and needs; helps clients build coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools; and collaborates with clinical staff to monitor client progress. The role includes escalating significant client concerns to the Clinical Director and completing session documentation, clinical assessments, and individual client charting.

The position is based at Avenues Recovery Center at Dublin, a residential facility in New Hampshire providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation. The center describes its setting as a scenic, 11-acre property and emphasizes compassionate, individualized care delivered by an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in the state.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
