About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Group Facilitator for its Dublin, New Hampshire residential facility, which provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation. The facilitator conducts therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients’ challenges and needs, and helps clients develop healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools. The role collaborates with clinical staff to monitor client challenges and progress, escalates significant concerns to the Clinical Director, maintains documentation of group sessions, and ensures clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.

The facility is set on 11 acres of New Hampshire countryside and is staffed by clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians. Avenues describes its care environment as dignified, compassionate, calm, and accepting.

Requirements

• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in the state.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client’s challenges and needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
