Requirements

• Current driver’s license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record under company policy.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or technician.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse liaison or successful sales experience in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and the local healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions and pre-screen patients referred from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, homes, and assisted living facilities.
• Develop call plans and strategies to drive referral volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
• Use market analysis data for the assigned territory to identify new business opportunities.
• Educate the community, referral sources, and physicians about hospital programs and services.
• Identify development opportunities to position the hospital strategically in the marketplace.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admission variables.
