About The Position

The Clinical Marketing Liaison cultivates referral relationships, manages an assigned geographic territory, and completes patient assessments to support business growth through patient referrals. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. It combines clinical licensure with community engagement and professional growth at Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation provider.

Requirements

• Current driver’s license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record under company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare technology experience.
• One or more years of nurse liaison experience or successful healthcare sales experience.
• CRRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census in line with strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships throughout an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Help streamline the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community members, referral sources, and physicians about hospital programs and services.
• Use market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admission variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations for various groups about services and outcomes.
• Manage an assigned territory and complete patient assessments.
