About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships, manage an assigned geographic territory, and complete patient assessments. The role supports business growth by developing and maintaining relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. The position blends clinical expertise with community engagement and referral development.

The liaison develops business census in line with strategic goals, prioritizes face-to-face relationships, helps streamline the referral-to-admission process, and educates community members and referral sources about hospital programs and services. The role also involves analyzing the market for opportunities, addressing barriers to admission, following up on admission variables, and delivering presentations and in-services about services and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current driver's license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare technology experience preferred.
• One or more years of nurse liaison experience or successful healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
