About The Position

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Clinical Liaison for its new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, scheduled to open in spring 2027. The role focuses on educating the community about acute rehabilitation and developing the rehabilitation program’s census in line with its strategic goals. It involves onsite and in-territory work, including face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources. Approximately 80% of an external liaison’s time is spent in the market territory.

Requirements

At least a two-year degree.
Current, applicable license to practice Nursing, Therapy, or Respiratory Therapy in accordance with the state licensure act.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
A track record of successful experience in a health care setting.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related, business, or marketing area of concentration; nursing preferred.
Previous clinical liaison, marketing, or sales experience.
Clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Educate the community about acute rehabilitation through face-to-face contacts to develop a census.
Develop business in alignment with the rehabilitation program’s strategic goals.
Build relationships with referral sources through face-to-face connections within the territory to increase census.
Identify barriers to the admission process and develop solutions with assistance from the program director.
Work onsite and in the territory, meeting face-to-face with patients, families, and referral sources.
Conduct in-person in-services and presentations about acute rehabilitation programs and services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
