About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director for its detox and residential treatment facility in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. The Clinical Director provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s smooth operation and ensure execution of Avenues’ clinical program roadmap. The role oversees and develops the clinical treatment team, supports client engagement and morale, and ensures client documentation is complete and timely. The facility is a 60-bed residential center offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Pennsylvania: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Three years of experience with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosed clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to ensure the facility functions smoothly.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain an effective clinical treatment team through consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with every client, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
