About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility. The Clinical Director provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s operations and ensure the Avenues clinical program roadmap is fully implemented. The role leads and develops the clinical treatment team, oversees client engagement and morale, and helps foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere. The Clinical Director also ensures client documentation is accurate and completed on time, collaborating with Utilization Review as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Louisiana: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Three years of experience with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosis clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting preferred.

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain an effective clinical treatment team, providing oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with every client, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
