About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility. The director provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support smooth facility operations and ensures implementation of the Avenues clinical program roadmap. The role cultivates and oversees an effective clinical treatment team, supports its professional development, and promotes client engagement and morale by interacting with clients and fostering a warm, recovery-oriented atmosphere. The director also ensures client documentation is timely and complete, collaborating with Utilization Review as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Louisiana: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Three years of experience with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosed clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or higher in a related field.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to support smooth daily facility operations.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Develop and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team through consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with clients, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
