About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director for its detox and residential treatment facility in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. The role provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s smooth operation and ensure execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap. The Clinical Director oversees the clinical treatment team, supports its professional development, and helps foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented environment for clients. The position also oversees timely and accurate client documentation and collaborates with Utilization Review as needed. The facility is a 60-bed residential center providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. It offers round-the-clock supervision and care and is staffed by therapists, clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians.
Requirements
- Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Pennsylvania: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Three years of experience with chemical dependency and/or dual-diagnosed clients.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting.
Responsibilities

- Cultivate and maintain an effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
- Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with clients, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
- Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
