About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility. The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s daily operations and ensures execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap. The role oversees and develops the clinical treatment team, supports client engagement and morale, fosters a welcoming, recovery-oriented atmosphere, and ensures client documentation is completed accurately and on time, coordinating with Utilization Review as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Louisiana: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Three years of experience with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosed clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Develop and maintain an effective clinical treatment team through consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with every client, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
