About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility. The Clinical Director provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s operations and ensure execution of Avenues’ clinical program. The role oversees and develops the clinical treatment team, supports client engagement, and ensures timely, accurate client documentation in collaboration with Utilization Review as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Louisiana: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Three years of experience with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosed clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to support smooth facility operations.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain an effective clinical treatment team through oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with clients, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure client documentation is accurate and completed on time, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
