About The Position

Cottage Medical Group seeks a Per Diem Clinical Concierge (Licensed Vocational Nurse-Certified Medical Assistant) for its Cottage Urgent Care-San Luis Obispo-Foothill Plaza Clinic. The Clinical Concierge supports patients throughout their visit—before, during, and after—by registering them, collecting payments, rooming them, assisting the provider with care and treatment, discharging them, and following up. The role aims to maximize clinical excellence and the patient experience while reducing treatment times, and includes accompanying patients and their secondary guests through the care experience. This position is a vital part of the office team providing care in a clinical setting. Working under the direction of the Site Manager and the on-duty provider, the Clinical Concierge works closely with the provider and other clinical staff. The Clinical Concierge assists the provider with front-office and back-office duties in outpatient patient management on a rotating basis and acts as a patient advocate, maintaining contact with providers, patients, families and significant others, community agencies, patient-care staff, and management.
