About The Position

Piedmont Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates (PENTA) has joined CEENTA, expanding coordinated ENT care across North Carolina and marking our first physician group affiliation outside the immediate Charlotte metropolitan area. We are hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment. This role is ideal for candidates seeking hands-on patient care experience, medical assistant training opportunities, and career growth in healthcare.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• 1–2 years’ clinical experience required, (primary care or ENT preferred)
• Experience with EPIC or EMR systems
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Dependable to travel between sites

Nice To Haves

• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP, ABHES, or AMT‑approved)
• Preferred CMA, RMA, or LPN certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; document history including vital signs, medical histories, and allergies
• Assist Providers with exams, treatments, and in‑office procedures
• Administer medications and collect lab specimens
• Provide patient education and serve as a scribe when needed
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries
• Respond to patient messages and prescription requests
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
• Clean and restock exam rooms; sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA‑compliant safety standards.
• Maintain clinic supply inventory and place orders when needed.
• Support the onboarding and training of new staff and apprentices.
• Collaborate with Providers and clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high‑quality care.
• Travel to other PENTA locations as needed.
