About The Position

Semmes Murphey Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join an interventional pain management practice. The nurse will be part of a dedicated care team supporting patients and their families through clinics and outpatient procedures. The role uses clinical expertise and careful attention to detail to prioritize a high volume of patients. The physician sees patients at some satellite locations, and reliable transportation is required. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Nursing program certificate from an accredited college or university.
At least one year of experience as a registered nurse.
Current state nursing license.
BLS certification.
Ability to work with focused concentration and comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions.
Ability to make frequent judgments and respond to routine problems.
Effective and persuasive communication in positive and negative situations.
Ability to provide excellent customer service while managing difficult or emotional situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word; electronic medical records (EMR); and medical practice software.
Knowledge of data-entry and coding software.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation is required.
