About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Interventional Pain Management Clinic provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to help create a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience across the continuum of care. The clinic’s pain-management specialists provide medical management, testing, procedures, and surgery. The position is based in the Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, a nonprofit health system serving communities across Illinois and Wisconsin.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
