RN - Registered Nurse - Pain Management Clinic
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pain Management Clinic uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized patient care. The role coordinates care, assesses and educates patients, performs triage, and provides other nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and follows age- and population-specific standards, the applicable Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules, and professional nursing standards and ethics.
Requirements
- Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, and/or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
