About The Position

The Clinic Office Assistant provides direct or indirect care to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as patients receiving preventive care. The role works under a physician’s supervision and within the employee’s scope of training. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, preparing them for visits, assisting with clinical procedures, and coordinating care. The position supports patients and providers in creating a positive, compassionate, and efficient healthcare experience.

Requirements

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current certification or license applicable to the role, such as an accepted medical assistant credential or an active LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR provider certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
