About The Position
Join the Orthopedic team as a clinical partner for the surgeon, coordinating patient care throughout the surgical journey—from initial consultation through post-operative follow-up. The role combines clinical care, patient advocacy, and coordination in a fast-paced environment, helping patients and their families navigate the process and building meaningful relationships with them.
Requirements
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current certification or license in one of the listed Medical Assistant credentials, or an active LPN license in the state of employment.
- CPR provider certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient charts and ensure necessary records and testing are available.
- Assist with patient visits and scribe during appointments.
- Schedule surgeries and coordinate follow-up care.
- Build relationships with patients and their families.
