About The Position

MedVet is seeking a contingent Client Liaison to provide a high level of client service and enhance communication and support among referring veterinarians, clients, veterinarians, and department team members. The role supports specialty and recheck appointments and helps coordinate department communications, records, schedules, supplies, and front-desk needs. The hiring range is $15.00–$21.75 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

Answer and respond to calls from clients, referral partners, and pharmacies; log conversations and check and log voicemails.
Answer incoming calls as backup to the switchboard coordinator.
Call for referral information for new and recheck patient appointments.
Coordinate with the clinical team and update the departmental schedule calendar.
Check for incoming referral faxes at the front desk and/or communication center.
Organize hard-copy records for next-day specialty appointments.
Check appointment emails throughout the day.
Email electronic records and X-rays to the appropriate department and send all X-rays to radiology.
Fax referral letters, depending on location.
Make copies of client handouts and cage sheet change forms as needed.
Call clients to remind them about appointments and next-day drop-offs.
Monitor departmental supply needs and clean and stock areas as needed.
