About The Position

As a Clerk Deposit Groups at Excalibur, you help create a positive guest experience by arranging accommodations for VIP guest reservations, groups, and wholesale bookings. You provide service to guests and internal partners while maintaining accurate reservation records. The role involves analyzing casino play to establish comp profiles, handling reservation requests, supporting casino hosts and executives, and coordinating room-block information with convention and leisure sales teams, meeting planners, and wholesale companies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of prior relevant experience in Casino Marketing or VIP experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze casino play and establish comp profiles for guest reservations.
• Process reservations and requests from guests, hosts, executives, the Sales Department, and branch offices.
• Assist casino hosts and executives with reservations and requests for information.
• Answer inbound calls related to mailings and invitations, and book Slot Tournament reservations and Direct Marketing Packages.
• Serve as a liaison between the reservations department and meeting planners or wholesale companies regarding group-specific questions.
• Communicate with Convention Sales and Service Managers about meeting room blocks, including rooms utilized and remaining for groups.
• Communicate with Leisure Sales about wholesale room blocks set aside for tour operators to sell as packages.
• Monitor cutoff dates to prevent convention groups from booking at their convention rate and to manage group blocks effectively.
• Review convention booking recaps, including group arrival and departure dates, room counts, and rates, and ensure pertinent information is entered into the computer system.
