Requirements

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Two (2) years or more of experience working with software applications within the Microsoft package and other software packages to create and maintain spreadsheets/calendars/documents/rosters etc.
  • Previous experience with various office equipment such as a scanner/printer/fax/computer/tablet/telephone/personal communication devices etc.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

  • Previous experience working in an office setting as a clerk and or personal assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, and distribute mail and newspapers to appropriate units and residents
  • Request supplies and maintain inventory levels for equipment and forms
  • Prepare, adjust, copy, and post nursing staff schedules across units
  • Organize files, overtime lists, call offs, and appointment information
  • Prepare appointment materials and assist residents with transportation and daily activities
  • Answer calls, route messages, and complete copying, typing, scanning, and faxing tasks
