The Public Utility Commission (PUC) is seeking a Clerical Supervisor to lead our Records Retention Section in the Secretary's Bureau, ensuring information is properly maintained, accessible, secure, and preserved. Join the team and help us keep everything in its right place! This position guides daily work in the Records Retention Section by supervising staff and managing the flow of records across the agency. The role ensures that record handling follows all schedules, rules, and procedures set by the Commission.

Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Records Retention staff and direct daily workflow
  • Administer file purging and ensure all actions follow established retention schedules
  • Implement record systems and maintain adherence to all Commission requirements
  • Approve personnel access to records and coordinate transfers to the State Records Center or Archives
  • Share updates between PHMC and the Commission and participate in related meetings and training
  • Supervise staff engaged in the digitizing project converting microfilmed records to digital scans and authorize records to be placed online at the Commission's website for public review
