About The Position

U.S. Servico, Inc. is hiring a part-time Cleaning Specialist to clean the Danlaw Headquarters Executive Building in Novi, Michigan. The building is cleaned Monday through Friday evenings for two hours per night, with work starting after 7 p.m. The hourly rate is $15, paid biweekly.

The role involves commercial cleaning and disinfecting, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, removing trash, cleaning bathrooms, and stocking supplies. The specialist follows Servico standards and the customer’s scope of work, works reliably and safely, and may work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to bend, stand, and lift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma and/or GED is encouraged.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred, such as office, medical, or retail cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning equipment as needed, such as canister or backpack vacuums, walk-behind floor scrubbers, and mopping systems.
• Use various cleaning chemicals.
• Use cellphone applications to clock in and out for scheduled work hours.
• Use cellphone applications to complete inspection reports and post pictures.
• Clean and detail areas to the customer’s satisfaction while following the expected scope of work.
• Clean service areas according to Servico standards, which are reviewed during training.
• Arrive at the location on time for every scheduled shift.
• Work effectively in a team setting or independently, with minimal supervision.
• Perform basic commercial cleaning, mopping and vacuuming, detailing, dusting and wet wiping, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, and supply stocking.
