About The Position

U.S. Servico, Inc. is seeking an energetic and driven Cleaning Specialist to clean and disinfect a building in Inkster, Michigan. This is a part-time evening position. The building is cleaned Monday through Friday for four hours each night, after 5 p.m. The hourly pay rate is $15, paid biweekly.

The role involves commercial cleaning and detailing to customer satisfaction while following the expected scope of work and Servico Standards, which are reviewed during training. The specialist may work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and must arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to understand and follow safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to use a cellphone application to clock in and out, complete inspection reports, and post pictures.
• Ability to bend, stand, and lift as needed, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma and/or GED is encouraged.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred, such as office, medical, or retail cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning equipment as required, such as canister or backpack vacuums, walk-behind floor scrubbers, and mopping systems.
• Use various cleaning chemicals.
• Bend, stand, and lift as needed; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Use a cellphone application to clock in and out for scheduled work hours.
• Use a cellphone application to complete inspection reports and post pictures.
• Clean and detail to customer satisfaction, following the expected scope of work.
• Clean service areas according to Servico Standards reviewed during training.
• Arrive at the location on time for every scheduled shift.
• Work in a team setting or individually, with minimal supervision.
• Perform basic commercial cleaning, mopping and vacuuming, detailing, dusting and wet wiping, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, and supply stocking.
