About The Position

U.S. Servico, Inc. is hiring a part-time evening Cleaning Specialist for SK Medical in Shelby Township, Michigan. The building is cleaned Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, with work starting after 8 p.m. The Monday shift is 1.75 hours; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts are 3.75 hours each. Pay is $16.00 per hour, paid biweekly.

The role involves commercial cleaning and disinfecting while following the required scope of work, Servico Standards, and safety guidelines. The employee may work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and must be punctual and able to use cellphone applications for timekeeping and inspection reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to bend, stand, and lift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.
• High school education and/or GED is encouraged.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience, such as in an office, medical, or retail setting, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning equipment as needed, including canister or backpack vacuums, walk-behind floor scrubbers, and mopping systems.
• Use various cleaning chemicals.
• Clean and detail areas to customer satisfaction, following the expected scope of work.
• Clean service areas according to Servico Standards, which are reviewed during training.
• Arrive at the location on time for every scheduled shift.
• Work in a team setting or independently, with minimal supervision.
• Use cellphone applications to clock in and out and to complete inspection reports and post pictures.
• Perform basic commercial cleaning, mopping and vacuuming, detailing, dusting and wet wiping, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, and supply stocking.
