About The Position

Imperial Beverage is hiring a Merchandiser in Novi, Michigan. Merchandisers work in assigned local stores to stock and organize beer, wine, and spirits, keep shelves and coolers ready for customers, and assemble displays as needed. The role offers flexibility, entry-level experience, and the opportunity to work for a Michigan family-owned beverage distributor. This full-time position requires a vehicle, a cell phone, and daytime availability. Employees are reimbursed for using their own vehicle to travel to assigned stores.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle.
Have a reliable personal cell phone that can receive calls and text messages; the phone number must be available internally.
Have access to daily emails and a smart device for tracking mileage and hours.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Live in or near the posted region.
Be able to lift and/or move an average of 30 pounds repetitively.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Review emails and deliveries to create the day’s schedule.
Arrive at assigned stores after delivery drivers have made deliveries.
Greet the store manager and check in if needed.
Review store invoices to identify delivered beverages.
Stock shelves and coolers, rotating fresh product.
Organize product remaining in the backstock area.
Assemble product displays as needed.
