About The Position
Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Support employee for its Maud location in Pottawatomie County. The position assists in creating and managing an attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and children. It incorporates developmentally appropriate early intervention, learning, and care activities that meet the needs of the group and individual children and families. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by management, and classification duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed in accordance with the Head Start / Early Head Start Policies and Procedures Policy manual. The role is intended to help children and families while building relationships in a team-oriented environment that encourages leadership and professional excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable liability insurance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of community resources, health and safety precautions, age-appropriate education services, and facilitating family involvement in program services.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and tuberculosis test.
- Must complete an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation background check.
- Must be found free of physical, mental, or emotional conditions that could affect the ability to perform essential job functions, with or without accommodation.
