About The Position

Brightpoint is a human services organization focused on advancing the well-being of children by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions. The Classroom Support Aide assists the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities and providing physical care to children, ensuring that safety rules are observed and implemented.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework in early childhood education is preferred.
• Experience working with children and families is strongly preferred.
• Ability to drive and access to a personal vehicle is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities.
• Provide physical care of the children.
• Help ensure safety rules are observed and implemented.
