Classroom Support Aide
About The Position
Brightpoint is a human services organization focused on advancing children’s well-being by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions. The Classroom Support Aide assists the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities and providing physical care to children, helping ensure that safety rules are observed and implemented. This is a full-time, hourly position at Brightpoint Central Regional Office. Compensation is $17.05–$20.39 per hour; offers are commensurate with experience, and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The final salary depends on factors including relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Some college coursework in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Ability to drive and access to a personal vehicle.
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities.
- Provide physical care of children.
- Help ensure safety rules are observed and implemented.
