About The Position
The Classroom Aide/One to One Aide works with the Center Based Special Education Teacher to support the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom. The position includes organizing, implementing and teaching developmental skills to students ages three to five. The role reports to the Special Education Teacher. Positions are available in Goshen, Wappinger, Sugar Loaf, Ulster County and Westchester, New York.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or HSE.
- NYS Teacher Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in preschool, childcare, early childhood education or elementary school.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Center Based Special Education Teacher in the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom environment.
- Organize, implement and teach developmental skills to students ages three to five.
