About The Position

The Class-ic Instructor teaches safe and effective exercise classes for clients of all levels. The instructor must maintain required education and certifications, follow club and employee procedures, provide strong customer service, and represent the Crunch brand in accordance with its mission statement. The position reports to the Group Fitness Class-ic Coordinator Manager and Franchise Owner/Operator. The description may be changed or altered at any time.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR certification.
• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• Nationally accredited aerobic certification from AFAA, ACE, or NASM.
• A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
