About The Position

The Class-ic Instructor teaches safe and effective exercise classes for clients of all levels. The instructor maintains required education and certifications, follows club and employee procedures, and provides professional customer service consistent with the Crunch brand and mission. Responsibilities and duties may be changed or altered at any time. The role includes monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR certification.
• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Nationally accredited aerobic certification from AFAA, ACE, or NASM is preferred.
• A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow instructor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
