About The Position

Fitness Growth Capital (FGC) is seeking a high-energy, positive, and passionate Class-ic Instructor to teach group exercise classes. The role focuses on providing safe and effective instruction for clients of all levels while delivering strong customer service and representing the Crunch brand and its “No Judgments” culture. Instructors receive coaching, support, and opportunities to grow in a team-oriented fitness environment. The position includes monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings. Compensation is $23.00–$35.00 per hour.

Requirements

Maintain valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
Have experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.

Nice To Haves

AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification is preferred.
A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
