About The Position

Fitness Growth Capital (FGC) is seeking a high-energy, positive, and passionate Class-ic Instructor to teach exercise classes in a supportive, inclusive fitness-club environment. The instructor is expected to lead safe and effective classes, provide strong customer service, and follow the club’s policies, procedures, standards, and instructor sign-in/sign-out processes. The role includes maintaining required certifications and professional conduct, supporting member requests, and representing the Crunch brand and its mission. The position reports to the Group Fitness Class-ic Coordinator, Manager, and Franchise Owner/Operator. Department and employee training meetings may be held weekly or monthly. Compensation is $23.00–$35.00 per hour.

Requirements

Maintain valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
Have experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification is preferred.
A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
