About The Position

The Class-ic Instructor teaches safe and effective exercise classes and supports a positive, inclusive member experience. The role requires maintaining current certifications, following club and employee procedures, and demonstrating knowledge of the Crunch brand and its mission. The instructor handles member requests or refers them to a manager and maintains a professional disposition. The position includes monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings. Compensation is $23.00–$35.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR certification.
• Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
• Have experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification preferred.
• A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
