About The Position

Fitness Growth Capital (FGC) is seeking a high-energy, positive, and passionate Class-ic Instructor to teach exercise classes and contribute to an inclusive, supportive “No Judgments” club culture. The instructor will help create a fun fitness experience while providing safe and effective classes, assisting members, and following club and company standards. FGC describes its clubs as offering state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, HydroMassage, tanning, and recovery spaces. The company also states that it provides coaching, support, and opportunities to grow. The position reports to the Group Fitness Class-ic Coordinator, Manager, and Franchise Owner/Operator. Compensation is $23.00–$35.00 per hour. Meetings include monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings. Requirements

Maintain a valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification; AFAA, ACE, or NASM certifications are preferred. A valid Yoga or Pilates certification is also acceptable.
Have experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow instructor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
