Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing (or awaiting admission)
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle increasing responsibility

Nice To Haves

• 0–4 years of experience in employment law, wage and hour, class action, or PAGA matters preferred. (Recently barred attorneys with relevant internships or clerkships are encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters, including claims involving unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, and unreimbursed business expenses
• Draft and argue motions and other substantive pleadings
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in case strategy and client advocacy
• Appear in court and actively litigate matters
• Work on complex cases involving regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers
