About The Position

Denali is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Route Driver for a new food waste collection route serving the Rochester, Weedsport, and Auburn, New York areas. The driver will operate a power unit with a Wabo dump trailer, primarily servicing Tops and Walmart locations and transporting ZDP food waste to a digester. Routes generally operate within New York, with occasional regional travel to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New Jersey to support other routes or move equipment. The role requires flexibility because schedules, route assignments, and equipment needs may change frequently. Routes begin between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM, depending on operational needs. Drivers may climb on and off equipment, inspect trucks and trailers, grease equipment, and wear required personal protective equipment. Operations pause during severe snowstorms, although driving during some winter snowfall is expected. This is a full-time, hourly position with weekly pay, overtime availability, benefits, PTO and sick time from day one, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, paid in installments subject to the stated employment conditions. Additional offerings include a $1,000 annual retention bonus, safety program prizes, and a $150 boot credit.
