Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

Proficiency in safe pallet jack operation.
Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and recognize mechanical concerns.
Willingness to begin work at approximately 5:00 AM.
Availability to complete a four-day route with up to two overnight layovers.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with customers and management.
Ability to safely perform the physical duties of retail collection, including entering and exiting the truck and moving materials with a pallet jack.
Comfort working outdoors around odors and dust associated with recycled waste.
Ability to meet applicable driver qualification requirements.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle with a manual transmission.
Complete scheduled retail collection stops throughout West Texas.
Use a pallet jack to safely move and position customer materials during collection.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment concerns.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic upkeep within the scope of training.
Follow assigned routes, meet service expectations, and communicate delays or route concerns to management.
Provide courteous, professional service and maintain positive customer relationships.
Maintain accurate collection records, required logs, and inspection documentation.
Follow applicable transportation requirements, company safety procedures, and material-handling practices.
Work outdoors around recycled waste materials, including exposure to odors, dust, and changing weather conditions.
