About The Position

NIS Express is hiring Class A CDL graduates in Hickory, NC, who are ready to start earning from day one. This position offers paid training for new CDL-A graduates with 120 hours from an accredited school and no Over-The-Road (OTR) experience required. The role involves dry van freight, 100% no-touch, with a focus on drop and hook. Drivers will operate on regional routes east of I-35 in 2024-2025 Freightliner or Kenworth trucks equipped with APUs. Weekly pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,500 via direct deposit, with home time available weekly or every other week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely in all road conditions.
• Utilize ELD and adhere to hours-of-service rules.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspection procedures.
• Understand dispatch operations and run expectations.
• Transport dry van freight on regional routes east of I-35.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
