About The Position

NIS Express is hiring Class A CDL graduates in Summerville, SC, offering paid training to start your career. This position involves dry van freight, 100% no-touch, and primarily drop and hook loads on regional routes east of I-35. You will drive a 2024-2025 Freightliner or Kenworth equipped with an APU. Weekly pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,500 via direct deposit, with home time available weekly or every other week. The initial 3 to 5 weeks involve training with a dedicated trainer on real freight and miles, with no unpaid periods or classroom-only sessions. Evaluations are conducted throughout the training, and you will transition to solo driving only when ready. The training covers safe operation of a Class A tractor-trailer, ELD operation and hours-of-service rules, pre and post-trip inspection procedures, and dispatch procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely in all road conditions.
• Utilize ELD and adhere to hours-of-service rules.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
• Understand and follow dispatch instructions for all runs.
• Transport dry van freight on regional routes east of I-35.
• Complete drop and hook loads.
