About The Position

Pratt Industries is hiring a safety-focused Class A CDL Flatbed Driver in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The driver transports baled recyclable materials from customer locations using a Class A tractor-trailer with a flatbed trailer, operates a forklift to load and unload materials, and works with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel. This role offers home-daily routes, consistent year-round work, modern equipment, and a stated pay rate of $25.74 per hour and $38.61 per hour for overtime. Pratt Recycling is part of Pratt Industries and works with communities and businesses across America to maximize landfill diversion through recycling and recovery operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Safe driving records.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.

• Previous flatbed experience.
• Previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer with a flatbed trailer.
• Pick up and transport baled recyclable materials from customer locations.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials.
• Secure loads in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
