About The Position

Rouse Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Flatbed Driver to haul building materials, pipe, coils, and similar flatbed freight across an established operating area primarily east of I-35. Weekly pay is $1,675 to $1,775, with 70 cents per mile paid on loaded and empty miles and an additional $30 for every load. Tarping is required on approximately three out of five loads; the $30 load pay applies whether tarping is required or not. Solo drivers are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers are home every 7–14 days, with a 34–48-hour reset at each home visit. The position provides an assigned 2020–2025 Peterbilt 567 or 579 tractor and a 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailer. Automatic and manual transmission options are available, and trucks are governed at 70 MPH. Drivers may take their assigned truck home if safe parking is available. Regular maintenance is provided to support dependable operation and reduce downtime. Transition pay is provided during the first few weeks while drivers become familiar with routes, scheduling, and dispatch operations. Drivers may bring one pet with no breed or weight restrictions, including cats, and one passenger age 10 or older with the required liability form. Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
At least 6 months of flatbed experience.
Tarping and load securement experience.
