About The Position
Pratt Industries is hiring a Class A CDL Flatbed Driver in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The role supports the company’s recycling operation by safely transporting baled recyclable materials from customer locations. Drivers operate a tractor-trailer with a flatbed trailer, use a forklift to load and unload materials, secure loads, complete vehicle inspections, and communicate with customers and operations staff. The position offers $25.74 per hour, with overtime at $38.61 per hour, home-daily work, consistent year-round work, and modern equipment. Pratt Recycling operates recycling and recovery facilities in ten states, with an operational footprint from New York to California.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Safe driving records.
- Ability to meet DOT requirements.
- Commitment to safety and professionalism.

- Previous flatbed experience.
- Previous forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer with a flatbed trailer.
- Pick up and transport baled recyclable materials from customer locations.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials.
- Secure loads in compliance with DOT requirements.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
