About The Position

Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a Class A Driver to operate a tractor-trailer transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. The driver prepares and handles delivery and pickup documentation, loads, secures, and unloads cargo, and maintains contact with management about instructions and schedule changes. The role maintains travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state requirements and complies with company safety procedures and applicable regulations. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with nights and weekends at home. Requirements

Current Class A CDL with no manual transmission restriction.
At least 3 years of relevant driving experience.
Prior flatbed experience.
Knowledge of and ability to operate all equipment in the assigned area.
Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently.
Satisfactory driving record.
Must be licensed to operate a truck.

Responsibilities

Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate delivery and pickup documentation.
Load, secure, and unload cargo.
Maintain radio or telephone contact with management to receive instructions and schedule updates.
Maintain accurate travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
Comply with company safety rules and procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
Operate a knuckle boom.
Transport cargo safely.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
