About The Position

Collectors is seeking a Claims Representative for its Collectors Claims team to assist customers whose collectibles may have been damaged or lost during their return journey. The role serves as a central liaison for customers navigating claims and guides them through the process with phone and email communication. The position reports to the Claims Manager and is based onsite at the Santa Ana office five days per week. This is a temporary role with an estimated hourly rate of $23.50. Compensation may vary based on location, job level, experience, and skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of administrative experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written organization and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite products.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements listed in the posting, including computer and phone use, regular hand use, hearing alarms and instructions, moving materials up to 40 pounds, and sitting or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process payment requests.
• Draft and send settlement and release agreements.
• Accurately maintain insurance logs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim activities, correspondence, and decisions.
• Provide timely updates on payment status.
• Address internal customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service.
• Work with internal stakeholders to process customer payment requests.
• Guide customers through claims using phone and email communication.
