About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City Dispatcher to work in its Lebanon, Pennsylvania Service Center office. The role coordinates city drivers, freight handlers, dock operations, and schedules, while ensuring safety and quality freight-handling procedures and timely dispatch of less-than-truckload (LTL) loads. The position also includes other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with various shifts. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills.
• Solid problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage drivers and freight handlers.

• Ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure quality freight-handling procedures are followed.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
