About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a part-time Childcare Teacher at its location in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. The role involves providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Teachers support children’s social and emotional development and encourage learning through the Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. They also build partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.

The position pays $17–$19 per hour, with pay determined by education and experience and increases available through continued education, performance, and years of service. The schedule is Monday through Friday. The center focuses on early learning for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, using a nationally recognized Creative Curriculum with a STEAM focus.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
